Objective	The objective of this proposal is to replace the fixed /23 usage-plan reference in APNIC-127 Section 6.2.1 with wording that refers to the IPv4 delegation being assessed.

APNIC’s Understanding of the Proposed Policy APNIC understands this proposal as a narrow wording change to align IPv4 needs assessment language with current IPv4 delegation practice. The proposal replaces the fixed reference to demonstrating use of at least a /23 within one year with wording that refers to the IPv4 delegation being assessed. 2. Impact of Proposed Policy on APNIC Operation/Services APNIC would need to update internal assessment notes, guidance, and any applicant-facing material that currently refers to the fixed /23 usage-plan requirement. 4. Implementation would be approximately 3 months subject to call for editorial comments.
