Synopsis

This proposal describes a process for the allocation of the remaining IPv4 space from IANA to the existing RIRs.

Current status

Did not reach consensus at APNIC 24. See policy proposal, prop-046: IPv4 countdown policy proposal, for an alternative proposal on the same issue.
