You already have IPv4 and you now need IPv6 but don't have any
You might instantly qualify for an IPv6 address block, if you already hold IPv4 addresses in your account.
Eligible Members will see the “Get your IPv6 addresses” icon on the main landing page upon logging into MyAPNIC.
There are no forms to fill out and no Membership fee increases at the time of delegation.

How much space will you receive?
Members will receive the following minimum delegations:
- A Member that has an IPv4 allocation will be eligible for a /32 of IPv6
- A Member that has an IPv4 assignment will be eligible for a /48 of IPv6.
If you require more than these default minimum sizes, you must apply under different IPv6 Policy criteria available and have these applications approved by APNIC.

Things to be Aware of Before Applying
- This application process will take approximately five minutes to complete. To proceed, you must agree to comply with the APNIC membership agreement, duties & responsibilities, and policy criteria.
- An Annual Membership Fee of AUD 1,180* will be charged for a /48 assignment and AUD 1,994* for a /32 allocation. Organizations in Least Developed Countries (LDCs) receive a 50% discount on their Annual Member Fees.
- APNIC memberships must be renewed every 12 months to keep the account open and to continue using the resources. Annual membership fee calculations are assessed on the anniversary of opening the APNIC account, according to the total number of IP addresses held at that time.
- If paying by credit card, you will receive your IPv6 immediately. If you choose to be invoiced and pay by cheque/bank transfer, your IPv6 will be delegated after payment is received.
- You can also request an ASN (Autonomous System Number).
*If your account receives IPv4 in the future, a one-time 'IP Resource Application Fee' of up to AUD 3,500 will be charged in addition to your Annual Membership Fee. For more information on APNIC Membership Fees, see How Much Does it Cost?
