APNIC aims to make numeric Internet resources available to all those who can demonstrate a need for them. Decisions on the eligibility for resources are based on policies determined by the Asia Pacific Internet community in a bottom-up, transparent policy development process that is assisted by the APNIC Secretariat.

Do you meet the criteria to receive APNIC resources?

Before applying for numeric Internet resources, you should refer to the associated policies to determine if you are eligible to receive them.

Allocation of /32 or greater

IPv6 address allocations and assignments
Experiment documented in
  • experimental RFC
  • alternative publication approved by APNIC

Who can receive resources from APNIC?

Any legal entity with network operations in the Asia Pacific. A legal entity in the Asia Pacific, regardless of where the network is deployed.

Note the following entities cannot receive resources: a legal entity outside of the Asia Pacific with no network operations in the Asia Pacific, or an individual.
