IPv6 Essentials
This course provides an understanding of IPv6 and its structure, operation, and technical features. IPv6 addressing and architecture is discussed in detail, and the issues related to the deployment, transition, and coexistence with IPv4 are examined.
This course also includes configuration and demonstration of IPv6 on host computers as well as IPv6 network building and configuration examples. IPv6 policy and address allocations are discussed, as are the issues related to the current status of IANA IPv4 free pool allocations and the deployment status of IPv6.
Who should attend? |
Anyone interested in learning about IPv6, as well of those involved in IPv6 planning and deployment will benefit from this training. The practical and demos are particularly important for operational engineers, while the more general discussion and review of issues involved would be highly relevant to managers and other decision makers. |
