Internet Fundamentals
To guarantee the availability of Internet services, it is important for networking professionals to understand the core technologies that drive the Internet. This course provides a fundamental overview of these technologies that are relevant to the Internet operation and development: IP addressing, Routing, DNS, IPv6, and Internet security.
The course also covers key concepts that are essential to understanding these concepts: Protocols and TCP/IP, subnetting, and network design. In addition, the structure and management of the Internet today will be examined as well as any current issues and concerns.
