APNIC strongly supports the growth and development of the Internet in the Asia Pacific region through the provision of training and education. APNIC's Training Program aims at fulfilling this objective in response to the needs of our members and other stakeholders.
Training objectives
APNIC training courses fall into two principal areas: Resource Address Management and Internet Technologies and Operations.
The Training Unit strives to expand the capabilities, knowledge, and understanding of Internet operators, engineers, managers, educators, and regulators, enabling them to make full use of Internet resources and effectively apply modern Internet technologies and techniques.
APNIC's courses are designed to teach their participants to proficiently configure, manage, and administer their Internet services and infrastructure and to embrace best current practices. Training material is developed in collaboration and consultation with industry and subject matter experts and includes, with permission, material sourced from such experts.
