Whois

Description

Customer assignment registrations that fall within delegations made to the Indonesia Network Information Centre (IDNIC) were moved from the APNIC Whois database to the IDNIC Whois database during this time. These records are still returned in query responses from whois.apnic.net, but they are now marked as having a source of IDNIC, rather than APNIC. All standard allocations and assignments to IDNIC, as well as all related domain, route, and route6 objects, remain within the APNIC Whois database.
As part of this transition, 0.0.0.0/0 and ::/0 objects were created in the IDNIC Whois database, to facilitate the import of records from APNIC. These were accidentally left in place after the update, and were returned as extra unnecessary results in query responses from whois.apnic.net until they were removed at 7:15 PM (AEST) on 21 May.

We apologize for the loss of facilities and any inconvenience caused. Should you require assistance in dealing with any problems arising from this outage, please contact the APNIC Helpdesk.
