Recording network assignments

Records of numeric Internet resources from ranges administered in the Asia Pacific region are contained in the publicly searchable APNIC Whois Database, specifically:

IP Address space allocations and assignments
AS numbers (ASNs)

Recording of customer assignments in the database is mandatory to accord with one of the fundamental goals of Internet resource management accurate resource registration. APNIC members are therefore obliged under current policies to maintain accurate customer assignment records.
