Update APNIC Whois database records

Users can update their records in the APNIC Whois Database using either:

Whois Forms

The following objects are available for update from Whois forms. Please follow the instructions that accompany the web-based forms or contact the APNIC helpdesk for more information:

Person object
Maintainer objects
Inetnum description objects
Domain objects

Update objects using Whois forms

MyAPNIC

Members with access to MyAPNIC can update APNIC Whois database records from the 'MyAPNIC > Resources > Update Whois' tab.

Privacy of Customer Assignments

As of 30 September 2004, APNIC has implemented a new policy regarding privacy of customer assignments in the APNIC Whois Database.

LIRs can now decide whether or not your customer registration details will be publicly visible in the APNIC Whois database. Database queries on customer assignments not designated 'public' will now be directed to the upstream provider's registration informaiton.

These changes do not affect portable allocations and assignments.
