What is the IPv4 Transfer Listing Service?

The IPv4 Transfer Listing Service provides APNIC account holders a neutral space to list unused IPv4 addresses to facilitate the transfer of IPv4 space to those who require it.

‘Unused’ IPv4 address space is defined as: ‘A /24 or more of a delegated IPv4 prefix that is no longer needed’.

If you need more IPv4 space, please conduct your own investigations to check the accuracy and transfer eligibility for any listings.

Who can submit an IPv4 listing?

APNIC account holders that have access to MyAPNIC can submit an IPv4 listing.

How can I submit my unused IPv4 address space on the Listing Service?

Log into MyAPNIC and follow the steps below.

  • Click on the ‘Resource Manager’ button located on the top right-hand side of the screen
  • Click on the ‘Resources’ tab
  • Under ‘Resource Transfer / Return’ click on ‘IPv4 Transfer Listing Service’
  • Click on ‘Create a new listing’

Can I view my IPv4 listings?

Yes.

Log into MyAPNIC and follow the steps below.

  • Click on the ‘Resource Manager’ button located on the top right-hand side of the screen
  • Click on the ‘Resources’ tab
  • Under ‘Resource Transfer / Return’, click on ‘IPv4 Transfer Listing Service’
  • Click on ‘My current listings’

Who can view the IPv4 listings?

APNIC account holders that have access to MyAPNIC can view the IPv4 listings.

Log into MyAPNIC and follow the steps below.

  • Click on the ‘Resource Manager’ button located on the top right-hand side of the screen
  • Click on the ‘Resources’ tab
  • Under ‘Resource Transfer / Return’ click on 'IPv4 Transfer Listing Service’

This will show all the available IPv4 listings.

What is the minimum listing size?

The minimum listing size is a /24, as the minimum transfer size is a /24.

Can I list IPv4 address space from the 103/8 pool?

Yes.

If the 103/8 address has been delegated over five years, the IPv4 address space may be listed.

How are the listings removed?

A listing will be removed if:

  • The IPv4 address space has been transferred out of the APNIC account.
  • The APNIC account has been closed due to non-payment of the annual renewal invoice. For more information, please refer to our billing process.
  • The listing is manually removed by the source organization in MyAPNIC.

How can I remove my listing?

To remove your listing, log into MyAPNIC and follow the steps below.

  • Click on the ‘Resource Manager’ button located on the top right-hand side of the screen
  • Click on the ‘Resources’ tab
  • Under ‘Resource Transfer / Return’ click on ‘IPv4 Transfer Listing Service’
  • Click on ‘My current listings’
  • Click on ‘Delete’ next to the listing you wish to remove

Do I need to do any due diligence checks before contacting the organizations listing the unused IPv4 addresses?

Yes.

Please conduct your own investigations to check the accuracy and transfer eligibility for any listings.

APNIC does not monitor, or warrant, the accuracy or eligibility of transfer of any information provided by Members published in the IPv4 Transfer Listing Service.
