IPv6 Tutorial

This training is delivered in both tutorial and 2 and 3 day workshop variations, (depending on need and level of expertise)

Course description

This course provides an understanding of IPv6, its structure, operation, and technical features. IPv6 addressing and architecture is discussed in detail, and the issues related to the deployment, transition and co-existence with IPv4 are examined. This course also includes configuration and demonstration of IPv6 on host computers as well as the building and configuring of an IPv6 network. IPv6 policy and address allocation criteria is discussed and the issues and perspectives related the current deployment status of IPv6 is considered.

Who should attend?

Anyone interested in learning about IPv6, as well of those involved in IPv6 deployment, transition and configuration will benefit from this training. The practical workshops would be particularly important for operational engineers while the more general discussion and review of issues involved would be highly relevant to managers and other decision makers.
