Course Overview

IPv4 pool depletion - IPv6 deployment: The day is fast approaching!

Course description

As the pool of available IPv4 address space depletes, the Internet industry is facing a potential crisis in dealing with this situation and ensuring sustainable Internet development and growth.

This presentation will look at these issues and provide a comprehensive explanation of the context in which this is occurring, as well as the policies, options and solutions being discussed.

IPv6 is currently considered the best (and only realistic) long-term solution for moving on from IPv4 free pool depletion. Thus, the presentation will also discuss IPv6 and review the activities, requirements and issues involved in deploying IPv6.

Who should attend?

The presentation will be of particular interest to personnel who drive network development and management, and those involved in decision-making processes.
