Global IPv6 Summit in Korea 2009
2009-07-02The next Global IPv6 Summit will be held in Seoul, Korea, 9-10 July 2009. As the largest IPv6 conference, it seeks to promote the deployment of IPv6 and investment in research and development of IPv6 technologies.

Next phase of four-byte AS number policy begins 1 July 2009
2009-06-01From 1 July 2009, APNIC will assign four-byte AS numbers by default when receiving requests for AS numbers. Two-byte AS numbers will only be assigned if the applicant can demonstrate that a four-byte only AS number is unsuitable.
