[WG-BB] DISCUSSION: Follow up from Taipei meeting

Dear Colleagues,

I am just writing to follow up on some of the issues raised at the APNIC 
Members Meeting with respect to the work of the working group.  The minutes 
from the meeting and SIG sessions will shortly be available on the web site.

At the meeting there was general consensus on the contents of the working 
group proposal with the exceptions of the following:

a) the requirement to supply customer lists

It was suggested that this would be contrary to law and to specific 
customer agreements. It was clarified that this
is asked by APNIC today for randomly chosen head ends.

b) full justification for assignments of greater than /30.

There was a suggestion during the member meeting that full justification 
should be only be supplied for /28 networks or larger (as I interpret this, 
it is not just for cable networks but all networks under the 2nd opinion 
process).

These questions now need to be discussed by the working group, specifically 
with a view to what we should change in the document, so your 
comments/thoughts are important.
