[sig-policy] Draft policy document: Policies for Autonomous System number management in the Asia Pacific region

APNIC seeks final editorial comments on the following draft document:

* Policies for Autonomous System number management in the Asia Pacific
    region
------------------------------------------------------------------------

The document has been updated to reflect the implementation of the
policy proposal, 'prop-032-v002: 4-byte AS number policy proposal'. The
changes are as follows:

   - The definition of an Autonomous System number in section 3.2 has
     been revised to include four-byte ASNs.

   - Section 6.3 has been added to show the timetable for moving from
     two-byte only AS numbers to four-byte AS numbers.

This draft is intended to implement the consensus decision reached at
APNIC 21 and endorsed by the Executive Council on 14 July 2006 in
relation to proposal prop-032-v002. Details of the original proposal

This is an editorial review only. The APNIC community has already
reached consensus on the policy issues which are to implemented.

Therefore, during the comment period, interested parties may:

- object to the draft document on the grounds that it does not
  properly reflect the consensus decision reached in the Policy
  Review Process;
- suggest improvements of any aspect of the document;
- request that an additional call for comment be made to allow
  more consideration of substantial revisions.
