As a research effort, I see that could be useful. Will it improve the knowledge and operation of the transit providers themselves? Don't universities have money for this? It's nice that APNIC likes to do research, but is that something the members should pay for? Perhaps APNIC should partner with universities around the region to get some PhD students to cover this?
