Punjab to have its own web page  

RECORDER REPORT 

LAHORE (July 10) : The Punjab government is planning to launch a Web Page 
to provide information to the people about the changes and amendments to be 
made in the provincial laws, rules and regulations. A meeting of a 
specially-constituted committee by the Punjab Chief Minister was held here 
on Friday, under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Punjab A. Z. K 
Sherdil. The committee discussed various matters relating to the launching 
of the proposed web page. The meeting, among others, was attended by the 
Senior Member Board of Revenue, Provincial Secretaries of Information, 
Industry, Law and other concerned officials. During a detailed briefing, 
the committee was told that under the proposed programme, laws, rules, 
regulations and other information regarding provincial departments will be 
posted on the web page. The Chief Secretary directed that comprehensive 
plan be presented during the next meeting so that the web page be launched 
as soon as possible.
