[GLOBAL-V6] New draft available: IPv6 Address Allocation and Assignment Global Policy

An updated draft:

IPv6 Address Allocation and Assignment Global Policy
   ftp://ftp.cs.duke.edu/pub/narten/global-ipv6-assign-2001-12-22.txt

is now available for comment and review. This document was put
together by an editing team organized by Takashi Arano, Chair of
APNIC's Policy SIG, Thomas Narten, Chair of ARIN's IPv6 WG, and David
Kessens, Chair of RIPE-NCC's IPv6 WG. It attempts to take the results
of the recent discussions in APNIC, ARIN, and RIPE and provide a
detailed policy document that can be used for further discussion and
eventual adoption as an updated policy. This document is intended to
serve as a focal point on IPv6 discussion at the January RIPE meeting.

This document has been worked on by a number of people (e.g., see the
acknowledgment section), but is not considered complete or finished.
For example, there are some notes in the document itself indicating
more discussion on specific points is needed. In addition, some other
questions came up during the drafting process; these issues will be
described hin a follow-on note with a call for discussion.
