A recent administrative decision by auDA has left
domain name registrar NetRegistry questioning the
decision making processes of the industry body.

Another Day in Court for CFIT vs. VeriSign and ICANN
The CFIT vs. VeriSign et. al. lawsuit had another day
in court today. The defendants?VeriSign and ICANN had
filed a motion to dismiss the suit. The key point
coming out of a hearing today (Friday, June 09, 2006)
in front of U.S. District Court Judge Ronald Whyte in
San Jose, California is that the arguments made by
CFIT against the .com deal between ICANN and VeriSign
will continue.

Netcraft June 2006 Web Server Survey
The Internet experienced its strongest site growth
ever last month, powered by a surge in blogs and free
web sites. In the June 2006 survey we received
responses from 85,541,228 sites, a gain of 3.96
million sites from the May report. This is the largest
one-month increase in sites in the history of the
Netcraft survey, surpassing a gain of 3.3 million in
March 2003, although the 2003 gain was larger in
percentage terms (8.5%, compared to 4.7% this month).

The Love of Fellow Man, Freedom and Diversity party,
which grew out of the paedophile movement, was told on
Friday by a judge in The Hague to change its acronym,
NVD. ... The judge ordered the party to remove the

comply.
