European Union Holds Cybercrime Conference 
The European Union today organized a conference in Brussels to
address online crime issues, after 30 nations on Friday signed the
Council of Europe's controversial Convention on Cybercrime treaty,
designed to harmonize laws that fight Internet crime.

Police arrested nine Britons this morning as part of an
international investigation into paedophilia on the internet.
Computers and software were seized.

EGYPT ARRESTS POET'S SON FOR WEB POSTING
Egyption police have arrested the son of a poet for posting
his father's unpublished work on the Web.  The son was
arrested by the newly established Internet police unit on
charges of distributing immoral materials.
