Dear colleagues,

Please be advised that due to some unexpected power failure, most APNIC 
services became unavailable from 4:00 to 5:30 PM (UTC+10) today, 26 
August 2005.

Affected services:
    * public web and ftp services
    * whois queries
    * whois updates (delayed)
    * mail service (delayed)
Unaffected service:
    * DNS

At the time of this mail, all affected services have been restored. Our 
sincerest apologies for any inconvenience.
