History of APNIC
A Regional Internet Registry (RIR) for the Asia Pacific region was originally proposed at the APCCIRN (Asia-Pacific Coordinating Committee for International Research Networking) meeting on 13 January 1993.
Below is a list of key meetings and events since APNIC's inception. APNIC is interested in obtaining copies of early documents, correspondence or photos to create a permanent historical archive. If you have any materials you think may be of interest, please contact helpdesk@apnic.net.
