IGF 2008, Hyderabad
The third Internet Governance Forum, with the theme, "Internet for all," was held in Hyderabad, India 3-6 December 2008.
APNIC represented the Asia Pacific Internet addressing community at IGF 2008 by:
- Participating as a member of the Number Resource Organization (NRO) in IGF workshops and main sessions
- Being available to talk to IGF attendees throughout the meeting at the NRO booth in the IGF village
- Organizing the Challenges facing Internet operators in developing countries workshop
- Producing and distributing the guide, Effective Internet Governance in the Asia Pacific report
- Providing fellowships for Asia Pacific Internet community representatives to attend the IGF
